OverJam International More Than Reggae Festival ha confermato la line-up definitiva per la sua undicesima edizione, in programma dal 16 al 20 agosto a Tolmino (Slovenia). Comprende più di 100 show su 6 palchi diversi, con grandi star della scena reggae giamaicana e internazionale, oltre ad alcuni artisti eccezionali di altri generi musicali.

Per la prima volta in assoluto, ci sarà anche il New Vibes Stage, dove 16 band emergenti si esibiranno ogni giorno dalle 14:00 alle 18:00.

Al di là del programma musicale, la grande novità è che OverJam ospiterà un esclusivo Dancehall Camp dal 17 al 19 agosto, con lezioni di dancehall professionali tenute da due dei più famosi insegnanti giamaicani, Global Bob e Zidan Xclusive. Il camp prevede due lezioni al giorno, per poi continuare con lo slot dancehall sulla spiaggia e terminare sul Main Stage il sabato sera. Per partecipare, è possibile aggiungere uno speciale pass extra al biglietto per il festival (prevendita 55€ / porta 85€) o acquistare un esclusivo pass per il dancehall camp a 239€ che include il biglietto del festival, disponibile solo in prevendita.

Sarà possibile inoltre assistere ai panel della OJ University ospitati dallo scrittore, selezionatore e broadcaster residente nel Regno Unito Angus Taylor, partecipare ai workshop di ogni tipo e ascoltare OJ Radio. I bambini adoreranno l’esclusivo programma OJ4Kidz, ora attivo fino alle 22:00 di sera. Ci sarà anche un cinema, un colorato mercato e, per la prima volta, un autentico stand gastronomico giamaicano, che si unisce a una serie di food truck che ofriranno cucina di 8 culture diverse.

Tutto questo avverrà nella consueta magnifica cornice sulle rive dei fiumi Isonzo e Tolminka, ai piedi del Parco Nazionale del Monte Triglav. Il festival sta già lavorando a nuovi modi per migliorare l’esperienza dei partecipanti quest’estate. Tra questi una nuova postazione per l’ingresso principale per accorciare le distanze, una biglietteria veloce per ridurre i tempi di attesa, il ritorno della programmazione musicale in spiaggia e la possibilità di campeggiare accanto ai propri mezzi.

Gli abbonamenti del festival sono in vendita al prezzo di 159€, compreso il campeggio. Sono disponibili anche biglietti giornalieri a 65€. Per la prima volta, sono in vendita anche biglietti VIP che consentiranno ai visitatori di guardare i concerti dal punto VIP, prendere un drink dallo speciale bar VIP, parcheggiare più vicino alla venue e persino un “Meet & Greet” con alcuni artisti.
