Chi ha deciso che “noia” debba essere una parola negativa? Nelle aule della facoltà di filosofia fino a qualche anno fa girava una frase: “La noia è controrivoluzionaria” e forse un tempo era vero. La noia annullava lo spirito rivoluzionario, di quella necessaria lotta quotidiana per una società migliore.
Forse però è altrettanto vero che oggi potremmo ribaltare questo paradigma: in un mondo che ci spinge ad una produttività incessante, la noia diventa un atto rivoluzionario, un atto sovversivo contro il capitalismo, un riprendersi il proprio tempo, tempo per se stessi e per le proprie passioni.
Boredom è un inno alla noia, un’ode affinché ci salvi e ci liberi dai pesi che schiacciano noi e la società in cui viviamo.
